This is Mavis & Myself. As a team we both had struggles, but at the end we finished with a Equilateral Triangle.
As we made the triangle we were planning some patterns to do ion the triangle. One thing we can work on is having a little faith in ourselves because when we were making the triangle we kept getting it wrong and then we would rip it up and say "Ohhh We SUCK".

But at the end we had a finished TRIANGLE.

 Today we had a whole school duffy assembly.We had 2 special guest visit Tamaki Primary. Cory, Joshua. They were both brothers.Joshua had told us a story about his grandfather. Su'a, Joshua did said a poem that he had written 3 years ago and this was his 351th time he had said it.After he had told us his poem we gave out duffy books. Sadly I was not one of them but both my friends did.At the end of the duffy assembly we had the chance to ask them a few questions. Like When did you start writing the poem? His answer was "about 3 years ago when he was 17", How long did you write the poem? he said "about an hour", How old were you when you started writing poetry?He said "when he was 10, his first poem was about his crocky and husky voice.

Write about a dream world with a pure mermaid who finds true love. 

 Once upon a time there lived a beautiful mermaid. Her name is Fiona She went swimming around the ocean until she came across a land.There was a sign she read what it said “Dream World ( Come and have some fun)”.So she swam to the land she watched people having fun and she wished that she had legs so she can have fun too.As time went on she staarted to feel funny. She looked down and it was a miracle. She whispered to herself “ I have legs at last”.1 hour later she tried walking on her feet, but it was to hard for she said to her “ If only I knew how to walk”. 

 After a few minutes she started to get the hang of it she went left foot then right foot then left foot and etc...... When she got there she saw a lot of rides, games, and more.Until she came a across a handsome guy named Prince James. He waved at her thinking she was Princess Fiona but she wasn’t a princess.He strolls up to Fiona and shakes her hand says “ Nice to meet you my lady” She replies with a “ Nice to meet you too”. He takes her to his castle and he booked a table for 2. They both had dinner, and they both have a little drink of wine. 

 Prince James asked Fiona “ Care for a little dance” ( she says “ I do” ). After a little while they went for a little walk along the beach until she saw the moon and she knew that she didn’t have much time left.She ran but then Prince James ran after her. And said “ Why are you running away?” She said “You wouldn’t want to know” Then 3 minutes later Prince James kissed Fiona on the lips and said you belong with me now. Then when it hit 12 o’clock nothing happened. And then they lived happily ever after. The End!!!

The Stranger I'll Never Forget! A little beautiful talented Mermaid with moonlight streaks Lila, looks up at the stars as she strokes her hands, pushing through the waves forming ripples. Then suddenly ... Lila gets inhaled into a swirling rip. Shes breathless, Lila finds herself in a Mountain , a mysterious mountain .

 She mumbles to herself “Father! Help me! I’m here”. All of a sudden the weather changes Dark Black brushy clouds cover the mountain then in a flash lighting strikes the water.Blue smoke fills the mountains. Lila coughs. She swims but she feels uncomfortable, like she doesn't have her tail.

She peeks down and she has two long feet. At first she thinks they’re long weird sticks with 5 short sticks at the top. There was no sign of her family so she ran to the nearest village. It was quiet too quiet that could only mean she wasn't there yet.  This was it ,the moment she never visualised. Shadows like Lila. She asked people to help her change her back into a Mermaid but they just thought she was just a mental little girl who asked people silly questions.

As the moon hides behind the clouds an odd stranger strolls up to her and asks her “Do you need help?” “Yes please.” She replied. He takes her to his crib far away from the village. When they arrived he grabs a few things in his house then she suddenly clicks and finds out that he is a scientist, according to all of his chemicals and lab coats that she sees around .

 The scientist asked her what she need’s help with. She replies “ I need help with changing back to a mermaid.” She says. “You still haven’t told me your name.” “My name is Lila.” she says. He mumbles, “I am Dr Frank and you can trust me. I’ve seen you before with a herd of mermaids.” He asks her politely to lay down on the table. He injects her with mermaid potions. She screams but softly then all of a sudden theres a fishy kind of smell. Lila yells with excitement as soon as she sees...

 That’s how she became a mermaid. She can change back into a human, so any time she is on land she is a human and every time she touches water she is a mermaid. DEDICATED TO MAKO MERMAIDS.

“Where did everyone go?!” I scream but no one was there to answer. My name is Tangaroa. All I can remember is that I was fishing. I was walking along the shallow part of the sea and I started getting dizzy. I felt more and more water coming up against my hip, against my hip I was getting dragged into a rip and the last thing I saw was a boat floating away in a distances. As I was getting dragged into the rip I caught a slimy ugly crayfish swimming around like it was on a holiday. I quickly grabbed it and held it tight, as the rip finished I was at another land. I called Mystery island. All I had for my company was a crayfish I was starving to death and had nothing to eat except leaves and sand. My voice was getting huskier and my throat was getting sore every time I swallow .I had no choice but to eat my crayfish, my only company, until I realized that I stopped starving. I decided to take a swim because I was burning hot and I was growing scabies because I wasn’t looking after my skin properly and treating it good enough. As I was swimming I saw this gleaming shiny thing in the water. I dived down and It was a compass then I looked behind myself and there was this ugly fish I had found. It was the most ugliest most terrible fish I had ever seen in my entire life. I tried catching it, it but then the fish bit me and I started bleeding like hell 4-5 minutes after I turned into a merman. I had a Sapphire tinted tail with streaks of midnight black. When I found the compass I looked at the back of it and it said “You must find a watch and there will be your next clue”. So I swam looking for a watch and then I came across a cave, and inside the cave there was the golden treasure hidden. Inside was a watch I opened the treasure box and I grabbed the watch. I looked at the back of the watch and I read the next clue, it said “You need to swim back to shore and when you get there I want you to say “I am mighty so set me free 3 times and you will be back to human”. So I swam as fast as I can and then I said “I am mighty so set me free” 3 times and then I was transformed back to normal . The End
